Basket weaving
Basket weaving is one of the oldest - known sardinian crafts, it was an integral part of the womens role in the village.
Baskets were used to hold wheat and other food crops.
This beautiful handmade basket, produced in the Campidano area, is still used for serving almond cakes, cookies and other sweets, especially for wedding and special occasions.
